I’m feeling the pinch of not being able to check “book” twitter via the browser. But then I remind myself that I already subscribe to The New Yorker, The New York Time, The Financial Times — all of these have books/art pieces, Literary Magazines, Instagram & Book Forum is up & running again. Before leaving Twitter over a year ago I made sure to subscribe to all the email lists of independent bookshops and publishers. Much saner read.
And I’m definitely not living in an echo chamber by not being on Twitter because I live in Western PA & if I want my “feelings hurt” all I have to do is tap “universe” or whatever it’s called on my Nostr Client & I will most likely see some version of Libtard.
In other words— I don’t feel isolated from the complexity and dynamics of my country and/ or the world.
