It gets in its own way, and fails to innovate. It brings in 80 billion in revenue and still finds ways to lose money.
The infrastructure itself is a useful tool to bring commerce to every doorstep efficiently, yet instead of optimizing that efficiency through innovative products and services they’re choosing centralization at both the cost to the consumer and worker.
How's this idea? An app that connects buyers with deliverers, who are just people with cars, similar to uber. The app could integrate with nostr, so no profiles are needed, and payment can be in sats. Have a suggest rate per mile/km but let buyers offer more to speed it up.
