this is something nobody wants to talk about. i think bitcoin city might be funded by china. chivo has always been untrustworthy based on my family's experience. their website does show their mining, but who really knows?

most salvadorans don’t even use bitcoin; it was just a nice perk for bitcoin tourists

i see your point, but when it comes to the el salvador government, they’ll still accept your bitcoin. however, for merchants, it’s on a voluntary basis

merchants not being obligated to accept bitcoin doesn’t mean it’s not legal tender

bitcoin is still legal tender in el salvador. the imf simply made it so businesses aren’t required to accept it

bitcoin is the currency of the internet
