The El Salvador government is sketchy. There was a lot of sketchiness coming from their government. Lots of pro-bitcoin propaganda like Bitcoin city, volcano bonds, Chivo app, non-transparent Bitcoin mining. All a failure.

this is something nobody wants to talk about. i think bitcoin city might be funded by china. chivo has always been untrustworthy based on my family's experience. their website does show their mining, but who really knows?

We live by the ethos of don’t trust, verify. There is nothing wrong with being skeptical of words when actions don’t align.
