Can check out DivestOS

https://divestos.org/

I've used DivestOS personally in the past before getting a Pixel. Did the job and I think it uses some Grapheneos security&privacy improvements like hardened malloc and more.

Did the job. It doesn't have Grapheneos' sandboxed Google Play but you can use an app like Shelter to keep big brother apps somewhat contained and freeze them when unused.

I should add a caveat: I don't see the LG stylo on their device download list and the LG G4 present is h811 not h810.

Might be worth popping into their channels real quick to ask whether your lg G4 will work fine (my guess is it will, but I've been in the position to help a friend switch os like that and it's always preferable when things work lol)

Doing some research and as per user messi2050 (the maintainer for TWRP for LG Stylo 3+) has said on XDA forums that the Q710WA doesn’t support unlocking the boot loader without an “unlock.bin” directly from LG.

Looks like the Stylo is out. Gonna keep researching for the G4.

Worst case I may try to trade in these phones and get an old pixel or similar phone that has a verified working degoogled OS.

Personally if it's a disposable old phone i'd at least try flashing divestos for h811 or h815 and see how it runs (seems the difference between 810, 811, 815 is just original carriers vs international variant).

Then again it depends how willing you are to tinker with trial and error.

For a pixel, can try paying attention when they announce or release the 8A, the 6s and 7s might go on sale (especially 6a 7a).

I'll let you know if I sell my 6a :P
