I love hodling corn but I don't want to just stand on the sidelines and not participate and build the Bitcoin economy either.

Definitely. And it’s not even just about participating or “spending” or whatever. IMO, it’s more about knowing (even internalizing) the tools that protect your and your family’s lives.

For example, I can believe in the 2nd amendment, but that’s not what keeps me safe. What keeps me safe is having & knowing how to use a gun to protect my household. The purpose of all of this is sovereignty. So we shouldn’t just believe that sovereignty is good, because that’s great virtue signaling and everything, and sure our values are in the right place, but we need to *become sovereign.*

Belief in sovereignty doesn’t make a society sovereign. A population of *sovereign individuals* makes it so. Each of us, needs to separately become sovereign, to protect society’s future together.

I say this as much to tell others, as to remind myself.

You're so eloquent Guy! 💪⚡🤝💜

Very well said. Thanks for the reminder.

I like that: internalize the tools.
