From the outside looking in, having a child is seen as a burden. Most millennials I know work full time, live in apartments and do not have any family support system. To them, a baby represents sleep deprivation, financial stress, career blocker, loss of friendships and party life. If they are on the liberal side, I can add in anxiousness about the future or even the climate.

Having a child is one of those things that require a leap of faith, and they have little about the future.

Some cross it out completely and some think they can delay it until they are in their 40s. The ones that do, are usually content with one. I must be the only one in my circles talking about wanting 3 or more.

Wow that's really sad, where I live (Spain) at least most people have a strong family support system due to our culture and that makes everything a lot easier, not just with children but in general.

I wish you and your family the best sir!
