#knitting friends,

I want to try knitting some socks tomorrow, using 25cm circular needles.

I’ve never made socks before nor have I used such small needles, I tried casting on today but it was too tight and too awkward to use them.

I don’t have any alternative needles to use at the correct size so I’m going to have to persevere with these.

Any tips or advice to help please?

an option is to use a second 25cm circular needle in the same size. I actually prefer this method over using one long needle in magic loop.

my favorite method is to use double pointed needles though. the downside is that you have to adjust your hands and needles four times per round versus twice a round if using the two circular or magic loop method.
