There was all kinds of fuckery in that case. Those charges were dropped, and the investigators went to prison for stealing bitcoin. Total shit show.
I’m surprised. Most people use this to justify why he should still be in prison. The person above me explained it though. These charges were thrown out and very possibly fabricated by the FBI. They had good reason to try to frame him and make him look like a horrible person because he made a fool out of them. The FBI had admin rights on the Silk Road, so they could have sent those messages, and then they recovered his computer in the library—full access. They could have placed those images on it. Not saying it happened, but they had very good reason to
