Wanted to get a better understanding on how Blossom works, so I checked out npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev's interview with nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr Most of the discussion was too technical for me to follow, but there were bits that I found really fascinating. Guy's comments about Nostr incentivizing data hoarding, and enabling a torrent-like marketplace of information retrieval (news articles, YouTube videos, hard to find cat memes, etc) was like getting a glimpse into the future; a kind of crowdsourced Internet Archive, as he more specifically put it.

So, hold on to those funny cat .gifs you've been collecting. You never know if it disappears from the web, and somebody is willing to pay you some sats to send them a copy.
