I'm playing less and less games. To be expected at my age, I guess. And living in a time where we appear to be on the edge of entering a very turbulent social/technological period. A transitory period where societies will need to grapple with how to reorient themselves to a reality where work is largely optional. Oh, and WWIII also appears to not be far off. This, too, will cut into my gaming time, I think.

Guy's comments about Nostr incentivizing data hoarding, and enabling a torrent-like marketplace of information retrieval (news articles, YouTube videos, hard to find cat memes, etc) was like getting a glimpse into the future; a kind of crowdsourced Internet Archive, as he more specifically put it.
So, hold on to those funny cat .gifs you've been collecting. You never know if it disappears from the web, and somebody is willing to pay you some sats to send them a copy.

Running hella late to Day 1 of the Under|Mine #HeatpunkSummit . A 5hr flight delay. Fark. Day 1 is nearly wrapped up at this point.
Anyway, this is the inaugural year of the event - a two day convention focused on bitcoin mining heat reuse. The event is at a co-working/local bitcoin community hub in Denver called "The Space".
Bro asked me to be the godmother to his newborn son. It's kind of weird. Neither of us are religious. I've already pledged myself to be the best aunt I can to my nieces and nephews. Godmother seems like it's a step above what I've already committed myself to do. Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard.

Started playing this tactical RPG called "Battle Brothers" yesterday. I think I've finally left tutorial mode, but even in the noob zone, I'm wiping out. This game is tough. I like it.

This is both my hope and fear. The Shitcoiner-in-Chief is going to cause many to FOMO into shitcoins. This might stave off the price of bitcoin from rocketing just a little bit longer, giving people more time to stack before then.
