Just this morning, a friend and I were talking about information hoarding. While I can appreciate that there's so much that we want to learn about, there's no possible way we can consume even a fraction of the content available out there.

I'm embarrassed to say that my YouTube 'Watch Later' list has several thousand saved videos, everything from history lectures to Bitcoin mining stuff. And lets not talk about my browser's bookmarks, the articles I've saved in Pocket, the books in my Kindle, or the physical books on my shelves at home.

Are you, too, an information hoarder? How do you go about deciding what content to consume? How do you prioritize your learning?

I personally will hyper fixate & rapidly devour information on a subject until something else catches my interest. Then after awhile I come back & learn something new to see how it ties together.

But if there are a variety of topics then list them out. Prioritize what seems important & start there. Then move down the list to the next topic. By the end you've learned something new across a wide range of topics. At the end of the list rinse & repeat
