But isn't that dude all about ending suffering? The Daoists are the ones who actually like suffering and pursue living naturally. Like the Stoics, or a hardy Christian. And Calvinists, don't get me started on Calvinists. Those guys are freaks. That's a whole other thing.
Gotta go through the suffering to realize all is temporary and let it pass as far as I understand it. Not numb it out or avoid it so it can build it.
That's useful for reducing suffering and for surviving with it for sure. But then what? I love the original joke btw, "I like my suffering RAW" well said lol
