The people get pushed into a corner and eventually take to the street. They often focus on the government buildings. When and where will we see robots doing this with us? How soon?

I think we will start seeing robots controlling the people first. Then they will learn how to do it and then we are in the terminator realm 😅
Agree, but in the early stages, if the robots are still under human control, won't we be able to deploy them to take to the streets in our place? Once the price of them comes down, it will be affordable. Even now it's possible to just deploy a few hundred/thousand simple drones that could just perform basic nuisance tactics. No need for weapons or violence, just nuisance. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't been seen yet in civil disobedience scenarios as it limits the physical danger to humans who would usually be subject to tear gas/rubber bullets/live fire etc. I'm picturing "Anonymous" sitting in a room on the other side of the world sending a bunch of mini drones....
🤔
That’s an interesting thought. I’m not very familiar with this tech but aren’t these drones being built with a set of limits? If this is true then once prices start to come down more individuals will start creating their own which will lead to the robot revolution. One thing also to keep in mind are EMPs. I think we are close to those being used pretty soon…
I've only really seen those fpv freestyle drones that are pretty much built from a kit that might be something close. Reckon the off the shelf stuff, like DJI, probably, like you say, got built in limits and likely leaking all the users location and other data anyway.
