Lack of critical thinking possibly?
Once you buy into a narrative like Web3, crypto, blockchain, tokenized communities, NFTs and all the hype about how it’s going to change to the world, it’s hard to realize a lot of that crap isn’t a true value add, and that Bitcoin itself is the innovation that everyone in the Web3/crypto/blockchain space is actually describing.
I also think a lot of people are brainwashed/programmed with the fiat mindset of chasing the next buck instead of low time preference, saving, building things that last.
This mindset doesn’t allow them the time to do the research and understand bitcoins potential. And you can’t pump bitcoin like you can some newfangled token.
Fiat state of mind is poison. We def got a good thing going here.
It’s much easier these days to identify the affinity scammers. I feel like the last cycle it was hard to always spot the techno-babble bullshit.
Nothing can be better than bitcoin on any dimension ever it was immaculately conceived from the start 💯💯💯
Even though it is a public surveillance chain it is still better for privacy.
Even though we have NFTs it is still fungible.
Even though most our mining is done by corporate ASIC farms we are still more decentralized.
Even though there is a block reward cliff the future of our chain is still secure.
Even though our second layer solutions centralize and push people away from self custody it is still bitcoin.
Repeat the mantras, close your eyes, plug your ears, ignore any valid criticism, stack sats, and hodl brooooo!!!!
