Go for a walk to & talk to a stranger maybe 🤔

Just embrace being radicalised is my motto

Seek out which you don't normally/automatically agree with. The fringes are edge of the bubble

Find, follow, and/or engage with people you disagree with. Read news sources you think are biased in opposing ways. Talking to people in real life is the best. You’ll find more commonalities than differences in my experience. Seek to understand different viewpoints. Always question your own.

You have a finite attention span because you are human. also limited comprehension and time for same reason. So, you will always end up in a bubble of one kind or the other. Even if you only decide something as natural as to dedicate yourself deeply to some skill pursuit or craft, you will consume that info to the detriment of all other info for some period of time. So the focus cannot be some meta construct that filters info up front. Instead you have to just develop some good research and discernment skills. Brush up on argumentation and some symbolic logic and maybe some on examination of evidence. Its the thinking tools that will allow you to consume willy nilly and curiously without worrying that you will be bamboozled.

That is the hard way. Easier way is just pick an "us" group and ride or die with them. That way at least your bubble supports your personal community of frens and such.

I think, maybe, probabl y crasy

I'm asking this myself, too.

To avoid being in the information bubble is relatively easy. Just follow people you disagree with as well. Read their opinions.

What is really hard is to tell what the truth is.

At least for me. I find it difficult.

I trust my senses. I believe what I see.

But the news, media, things politicians say, much harder to tell what is really true, what are their intentions, etc.

I wish I had an answer.

And of course, to study and deeply research any complex topic, whether it is climate, vaccines, war, it would take a lot of time.

I'm not saying we give up.

We need, I think, to form opinions, evaluate, what is true, what is false, who is good, who is bad, what to eat, etc.

I'm just saying... I don't know. It's hard.

I deeply think the truth exists. It is knowable, that is, possible to know.

But often hard to find.

Anyway.

Have a good day, all the best. I've been following you for a while.

Be mindful of what you think and why you're thinking it. If you're just repeating what you've heard others say, you're in an information bubble. When asking questions, don't just stop at one.

think for yourself
