I’ve tried the coinos wallet with Damus. I can receive zaps but can’t zap from the wallet. My zapper has been broken since I tried the enuts wallet. Haven’t been able to figure out why.

I couldn’t Zap out at first and got an error in the connection, but after waiting a bit it worked..

At first I got this error when connecting, and could only receive Zaps, but I just waited an hour or so and it turned green..

Ok I tried to zap you. I changed my wallet in my profile to coinos. When I try to zap you it wants me to select a wallet but the coinos wallet isn’t an option.

I just got a Zap for 42 sats, must be you.

In settings->zaps turn off Show Wallet Selector and select Use Default

Not me. I tried 21 sats. Just turned of wallet selector. I’ll try again. Look for 21 sats

Didn’t work. Prompted me to open breez wallet.

Do you have a red Error or a green Connected in your Damus Coinos connection?

I don’t see this “wallet support Damus” anywhere.

I’ve gotten this far yet I still can’t zap anyone. I’ve tried zapping you twice and a few others. I’m not seeing sats leaving my coinos wallet. Damn I’m confused. Really appreciate your help.

Probably because I was using Alby but I changed to Coinos again; maybe now you can zap me,I guess! ⚡️😎

I couldn’t zap you either 🤔 I think we have to use the Coinos Nostr connection making a new Nostr key with them, as I am using my oldest Nostr key, I think Coinos don’t recognize my key as a connection,in this case I prefer to use Alby as I already do for a long time.

Wouldn’t making a new nostr key just create a new account?

Every new key is a new account, I guess! 😎

That’s what I thought. I’ll figure out another wallet to use then.

I think every key on Nostr is just like every passphrase on Bitcoin wallets, it means that every key or passphrase is valid and always creat new accounts(Nostr) and wallets,(Bitcoin).

With my Coinos wallet I couldn’t zap you , but now I did with my regular Alby wallet that I always used on Nostr,! 😎⚡️

I could zap someone else, maybe just your receiving zaps?

Yes I’m receiving zaps but can’t zap out. I really want to figure this out. I’m settling up a GrapheneOS phone and have gotten a ton of help from people on Nostr and would like to show my appreciation with zaps.

I zapped you now but not with my Coinos wallet! ,I think that to zap someone using Coinos it needs to create a new Nostr key with them, cause using your regular key from the other device or clients,it’s not possible,I don’t know why but I think this is the only explanation 🫠.
