what interactions with damus have you had where you felt like you needed to be a programmer? We try to copy the twitter app ux as much as possible.

Hey there ;) Something about nostr:nprofile1qqsraldwhvwcjgltmxwfu7kw8dqef2692yhzheuurd7k3kfy8cxjdqgpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9thwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny0nqg88 feels like video games nowadays; too many powerups and metrics to keep track off, but to be honest, I can be the dumbest of dumb end-users sometimes.

I just want to turn on the system and start shooting stuff, ya know? Sometimes, I just want to #zap in the most visually pleasing and least truncated environment I can find. I keep trying all apps.

Don’t copy the twitterX experience. Your thread system is way better, visually. There are font, framing of notes on screen and color palette things that I wish I could adjust. Overall there is an “aesthetic” edge missing in nostr:nprofile1qqsraldwhvwcjgltmxwfu7kw8dqef2692yhzheuurd7k3kfy8cxjdqgpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9thwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny0nqg88 that I think is SO close to making it killer.

I got ideas, and I keep trying to learn, but I’m just tapping my dumb thumbs to my iPhone with very little backend knowledge of the build process.

HMU if you want more input from this pleb.

🤷🏼‍♂️✌🏼🧡

always down for design critiques. Damus is open source so you can suggest changes on a PR and they can be integrated

I’d just as soon assume nobody gives a shit about my opinions, but I can do my best to ‘em rip if you want! I’ll suggest some things for nostr:nprofile1qqsraldwhvwcjgltmxwfu7kw8dqef2692yhzheuurd7k3kfy8cxjdqgpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9thwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmny0nqg88 🤙🏼

We love feedback! nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 nostr:npub1uapy44zhu5f0markfftt7m2z3gr2zwssq6h3lw8qlce0d5pjvhrs3q9pmv

Feedback is welcomed. It helps to be very specific, add screenshots, mockups, videos etc

A lot of times when I reply to a note, it doesn’t appear until I exit out of the thread and go back to it. That’s not a great experience.

Can you confirm which version?

Most of the ones I’ve used. I’ll document the next time I see it happen.

I have to be honest with myself, I didn’t know what truncated really meant before you had the setting in your app to “truncate timeline text”. I am still confused by it.
