Good source, thank you. I think it looks like post-2013ish rather than post-2006ish as I suspected. I’ve actively sought to own vehicles without this kind of fuckery pre-installed. Still, thank you for sharing!

The government can basically do anything it wants to you. The question is not if you can stop them, the question is are you worth potentially divulging to the public that they can do it or not.
Building your own electric car is easier than disabling the dystopian firmware that all cars come with nowadays.
