I used to. So I studied the science over a period of 6 years. We’re fucked.

An additional 0.33 Watts per sqr meter are being trapped by the burning of #fossil fuels , deforestation etc. = 15 Hiroshima bombs a second additional heat.

The kettle has been turned on, we’re just waiting for it to boil now. It takes ten years.

Emissions are still increasing every year. Nothing is being done. Even if we stop burning fossil fuels today we go to +2 to 3c of warming. Business as usual = +7c warming.

Glad to see bitcoiners who has legitimate background on energy.

We need to act fast, but not like Greta did. The main problem is the ppl who control fossil fuels and making profits from it. Bitcoin can fund this cause and we might get somewhere that we see actual results of the actions.
