Curious, what’s the general sense isout east about Alberta independence?
Not really a topic of comversation? A belief that we are whining and would never do it? Good riddance? Indifference?
I often hear Easterners say, "It is a great idea, But it will never happen.". I think that they think paper work is hard. I respond with, "With a pen Alberta joined the Con-federation and with a pen Alberta will leave. It's not really that hard.".💪
"Canada will never allow Alberta to leave.". I also hear often.

I used to have national pride, now I only have understanding of the institutions. I see how far we can go & it doesn't scare me as I see what dictatorships can do.

That’s the sad thing. National pride is dead, it no longer exists, it’s been hollowed out. I love people, not nations, or states, or institutions. People. That make me life, that make me better, that lift me up.
