Ralph Manheim was a Jew; son of a rabbi in fact, despite the Aryan-sounding name. He was also an acclaimed translator, and deserved the acclaim. If I recall correctly, he translated Mein Kampf for Houghton-Mifflin. His translation is marred by many hostile footnotes, but the language is often very expressive and elegant. There are some places where the sentence structure gets a bit complex. I am going to read the Dalton translation next, since the leader of the New Order, Martin Kerr, recommends it, and says it is even better than Manheim's.
