My glasses are literally held together with twisted paper clips that I sewed into the screw holes so I pay for contacts, but I am maintaining my spectacles. I do it because I have dry eyes in the morning and donβt go straight to contacts.

Itβs worth the sats. Iβm lucky my prescription hasnβt changed but if yours has you should spend the money and take care of them. The world is beautiful.
To add I always demand one strength Les than I βneedβ which is why I think my eyes havenβt gotten worse since I was like 20

If they do the eye health scan where they basically scan your entire inside of your eyeball, you should request the data so that you can keep it. Itβs helpful if you go to a new place and you want to compare old scans to new ones. Preserve your data
Yeah somehow everyone denies my RX but someone 1800 contacts does it. It think they say fuck verifying the RX.
So yeah haven't seen an optometrist since pre covid.

I kinda miss my glasses.
