If you want people to come to nostr. Maybe you should be getting out there and saying

“hey. You can talk like a normal person there!

You can say words like “kill” or “suicide” without having your content made invisible.

Or.

You can talk shit on Israel or China. Or the United States for that matter. Without being punished.

Or if you want. You can say slurs. You can really do whatever you want.”

Maybe that would be a selling point?

We don't want people we want plebs

“We’re gonna need a real small net to get the exact fish we want”

I don't look at it like some mission, those destined for the nostr will find and stay. The rest we don't need.

There are a few people I miss from twitter, who would fit right in. I've told them about it. They think of it as "yet another social platform/account" and I don't think most people who you tell about nostr realize it should replace, not be part of a collection.

I think calling Nostr an "internet Swiss army knife" would be an excellent selling point.

I think maybe someone will join if we just have the words "nostr hasn't banned anyone" written on a wall or printed on a card
