Replying to Avatar makeheroism

If you want people to come to nostr. Maybe you should be getting out there and saying

“hey. You can talk like a normal person there!

You can say words like “kill” or “suicide” without having your content made invisible.

Or.

You can talk shit on Israel or China. Or the United States for that matter. Without being punished.

Or if you want. You can say slurs. You can really do whatever you want.”

Maybe that would be a selling point?

There are a few people I miss from twitter, who would fit right in. I've told them about it. They think of it as "yet another social platform/account" and I don't think most people who you tell about nostr realize it should replace, not be part of a collection.

So many people are hedging their bets and not getting the real experience. The freedom from self censorship only truly starts without the other platforms poisoning your habits.
