How do I know if my lightning node is properly configured for other nodes to open channels with it?

I tried to connect and got an error…your network address is not published looks like so other nodes will not be able to connect.
Thank you, will look into it. How long do updates typically take to propagate through the network? I public address about an hour ago.
Gossip to propagate could take unto 24 hrs…but normally it takes lower. Try in few hours…

I had set it up as dns, but that may not be as widely supported; so, I switched to my ipv4 address and restarted core lightning server.
Should I add more peers than channels?
If you restarted now…just wait for couple hours.

Well after searching for support tools, I decided that LND was easier to work with, so decided to shutdown core-lightning node ORANGE_CRUSH and start fresh with orange-crush:

Cool. LND has lots of tools for node management, etc. There is LNDg for node management worth checking.
