I’m of a similar opinion

what are your numerical estimates of “bitcoiners“?

Haven’t really thought about it but if there are 17,000 nodes (wild guess) it may be safe to assume 3/4 represent a bitcoiner? I dunno. What do you think?

Maybe we can add the other 1/4 in for every non-node-running bitcoiner? 🤷‍♂️

Or is my estimate too low?

running a node is a very high threshold, imo, but i understand why you might choose it

i consider people who hold bitcoin IOUs bitcoiners who are earlier in their journey than node runners

but labels are always messy 😉

Promise holders definitely do not fit my definition of a bitcoiner but I’m no expert and know nothing 😛

yeah, there’s no right answer here, but i seek to include/welcome more people to “be a part of it” regardless of labels. i think it’s best for bitcoin to help people through the stages of education/understanding

If there’s only 17k nodes that would be very bearish

Also sad - so many pussies
