Has anyone done a tweetdeck style nostr app yet?
Discussion
Isn't plebstr from the tweetdeck guys?
Actually it's from the tweetoshi guys. Tweetdeck something else entirely
nostr:npub1t9a59hjk48svr8hz6rx727ta6kx53n5d6fw8x26vsua0zytpl87sa6h4uw did nostrgram but it seems defunct now. Not really Tweetdeck style but 'kinda'. Outside of that, no.
Could use the source code of the #Mastodon web GUI, it's very similar.
When group private chat in Damus?
nostr:nprofile1qqsw3sw2qwjxm9ccf07djyj6tjt8f2r8h5d746ly03maf6hvd30wsaqv9typp - I recall Akawin being similar to Tweet Deck. Is this still the case?
Rabbit
Rabbit it is.
No, but I'm thinking about building it. Just too tied up in normal work.
My idea is a multi-column view, for each column either a predefined view or a custom created subscription.
Also, an always on self-hosted backend that does the event processing/deduplication/sorting/thread aggregation/counting and pre-fetching/caching of all linked profiles, lists and images for your social circle.
This way the frontend can be light and fast with minimal bandwidth/processing power.
Backend can also function as a dedicated personal relay, so you can point other clients at it, which your full social graph available.
Isnβt tweetdeck generally used by companies to spread their propaganda? Just sayinβ
I've been using it for years. For multiple personal accounts, keeping an eye on specific accounts, having tabs on hashtags. It's pretty useful for me and others and makes life so much easier in comparison if I had to do all of this without it =3
This would be fantastic, along with lists.

I think nostr:npub1uapy44zhu5f0markfftt7m2z3gr2zwssq6h3lw8qlce0d5pjvhrs3q9pmv was working on one
I haven't heard anything about this client in probably 5 months? Also nostr:npub1arqu5qaydkt3sjlumyf95hykwj5x00gmat47glrh6n4wcmz7ap6qlskjdh is working on a different one. He demoed it at Nostrica.
Yeah, we stopped stopped working on it for various reasons, is design ready in case someone wants to take it. π
Is there a tweedeck client for Mastodon?
No, but there is a tweetduck open source clone of tweetdeck that we can potentially port easily
