Pit Bulls have a bad rep because of the people who tend to own them. It's a lot of these young men who see the dog as a status symbol, and specifically want it to be vicious. They mistreat the dogs, hit them, and do all they can to produce an unreliable dog with a tendency towards violence. It has nothing to do with the breed. If they treated a Cocker Spaniel the same way the result would be a similarly unstable, violent dog. Pit Bulls, when raised right and treated with love, are one of the most loyal, even-tempered dogs who are great with children, and make great family pets. It's all about who raises them, and how they raise them.

Yes i see. I always thought this was much more of an owner issue than a dog issue, as is mostly the case. Like when you step in dog poop. 😡

This is the egalitarian delusion in a nutshell.

WTF does this have to do with egalitarianism?

Exactly. If your egalitarian worldview didn't forbid it, you would otherwise be able to connect the dots.

How bout you just explain what you're talking about? Because I think you're using the wrong word.

All dog breeds are equally capable of chewing a childs face off.

Any propensity for a dog to do so is entirely due to the owner and the environment the dog was raised in.

So, in other words you agree with me. OK. Sounds good. That's a funny use of the word egalitarian. I hadn't considered you were using it in reference to different dog breeds.

No I don't agree with you.

I am merely attempting to restate your position with regards to shitbulls expressed earlier in the thread, and using this as a textbook example of egalitarian worldview delusion.
