i've had someone somewhat close to me get scammed before. it was a wild experience because they refused to listen to their closest friends and family in favor of the scammer for awhile.
took them almost two months to finally wake up.
scary stuff, really.
it really is scary. most of the time they target the vulnerable unsuspecting individuals. 😔
