I just spent forever looking for one only to find that it has been taken down ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm guessing it was copyright maybe, due to Jurassic Park or Blue Origin content.

Not sure what or why, but if you share the past URL with me Iโ€™ll take a look

I can see the video playing, are you not?

In Primal, btw

It's in their cache maybe?

No, I get the generic video not found file.

In Amethyst, and my browser.

Also with VPN disabled.

Since I havenโ€™t opened or seen the video, I am not sure how would it be cached. Did you happen to delete it yourself? We do not remove content from paid accounts

Primals media cache?

Lol could you download that and upload it for me ๐Ÿ˜‚

I donโ€™t see the video, I see a โ€˜video not foundโ€™.

This is from your premium acct I believe, we donโ€™t moderate premium accts.. Any way you deleted it somehow?

I don't remember deleting it.

Did you check in your acct page? Is it not there any more?

I checked, it's not there. I spent forever looking ๐Ÿ˜…

Thank you! Now I can make my shit post reply ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿš€

When did you upload the video? I am still trying to to solve the mystery behind its disappearance

Oh, let me expand the search ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜…

Ok, I donโ€™t have any logs going this far. My primary suspicion is that you may have accidentally deleted it (maybe via a client using nip96/blossom) and thatโ€™s why. There is no recent record of deletion that I could find, so it probably has been a long while.

I use amethyst almost exclusively, I didn't think it had a way to delete. I don't remember doing it through the Web interface either, and it takes a couple clicks, so I didn't think I could have fumbled it. If I notice any others I'll let you know.

Thanks again ๐Ÿ‘

If you played with blossom, that could delete the media if asked. It is not in DB either, so it means it was a clean delete. It was not in our backup bucket, means that the deletion was done by the authenticated user

I did experiment with the blossom uploader on Amethyst. Maybe some wires got crossed ๐Ÿค”

With blossom, we are forced to deduplicate media by at least a user. So if you uploaded the same file as you had, and then deleted it, it would have deleted the only file. This only applies to blossom

I just checked, and the timing works out, that's right around the time you guys added blossom support, and I used it for a week or two. I may have uploaded a duplicate and deleted it, unaware that it would delete the original too. Detective Fishcake.

๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜… hence my resistance to anything blossom, because it is not well thought out and puts user in danger. I always advise to use nip96, since it works and much better suited for the purposes of social media

Yeah, I actually switched back to nip96 on your advice ๐Ÿ˜‚
