i feel bad for abandoning Habla and letting it rot, I had great plans for it and didn't deliver and I'm really sorry for letting you down. for context i'm the only one working at home and I have to pay a mortgage, the bills, raise a kid and feed my family. the little time I have left for open source goes into nostr:npub1gm7gw8q6akeft2pjt270we35vlff0v9g2fene6cxkz2h68q5hl6qls0fte often losing sleep hours just to be able to push the project forward. i'd love to have more time to fix bugs and properly finish the projects i start but the last 20% is the hardest and my brain is fried by the time i finish my duties.

See, you could have all the time in the world to work on w/e you wanted....if you planned properly to do so.

Did you need a mortgage when there are 3bdrm trailers for $30k or less?

Smaller home smaller bills....

You can raise kids in a trailer same as a house.

Lower bills means you'd have more money for food.

At what point do we admit that most of us fell for the system and there is no getting out of this hamster wheel and simply stacking sats isn't going to save us or the world?

i want my family to live in a nice house they own, and i'm saving as hard as possible so they have more choices than i had. i've been in pretty dark places in the past and lost it all, i had to basically start over a few years ago. i know i'm not getting out of the hamster wheel but they'll have optionality.

Focus on raising your children. Have many.

This is how you build the future you want to see, and also why the government uses kids as an excuse for everything, like providing ID to keep the internet safe, but won't actually give us the epstein list.

As different as we all are, kids are something we can all get behind and stand for. As one.

They don't want that.
