It would be so important to have a feature where a node can crash and when coming back online announce it had trouble and recover channels from peer and watchtower without triggering a force close.
I had problems with my node this weekend. (SSD problems, backup present)
Because of that my payment processor for the relay (https://nostr.21sats.net) wasn’t working.
A lot of my channels are forced closed now.
I opened a few channels which was active before the crash.
But now my inbound is at a low level.
Sorry to my peers which channels are not opened back. 😞
I learned my lesson….hopefully 😅
