I finished reading “Where the Crawdads Sing” today

A beautifully descriptive, nature focused tale of abandonment, survival, and the fierce resilience of a girl shaped by both wildness and heartbreak. 4 ⭐️

Nina’s 📖 observations to go:

- Isolation carves the soul; the marsh was both her sanctuary and her cage

- Trust is earned in small, steady gestures and reliability - not promises

- Abandonment breads guarded love and here leads to a dance between longing and defense

- Unspoken fears and withheld words build walls

- Prejudice isolates and defines before knowing

I’m now eager to see how the movie brings it all to life on screen and hoping it doesn’t disappoint, as adaptations so often do 🌝💫
