If you only had 5 minutes to live, what would you teach your young child? It has to be something concise and simple. Something that will be beneficial now and in the future.

I think I would teach my child to question everything. To not trust everything they hear without looking at the evidence. Even then, I’d stress they should be open minded to the possibility that the evidence could also be wrong or incomplete. I think that mentality gives you the best chance to find truth.

5min isnt enough time to actually communicate anything. better to just let them know they are loved.

That’s fair but maybe you can give them a line that they’ll remember forever. Something that they can learn on their own when they’re older.

That’s a fair point. If you just say use critical thinking, they’ll probably learn about it as adults. Hopefully if they really loved their father 😂

You would have to be a critical thinker to understand an explanation of critical thinking. I think we are all born critical thinkers but we lose it along the way. I think a child might just have a chance but I don't think I could explain it regardless of the time frame. Your points seem like a good start.
