From my perspective I see that mark as read and reject all could be a tertiary button, having a primary button for those actions I think is too much. Just my 2 cents. Looking good.

I think heading should stay as as Inbox rather then change as you click the pills. This keeps it clear what area of the app they are in. Also should the envelope icon be in a selected state? Or is that not for inbox?
This could be done alongside adding some color to the selected to pill to make it more clear which is selected.
