Nostr Web Client

In #noStrudel can I adds my own relay that is running on Umbrel and should be accessible via Tailscale at `wss://umbrel:4848`? I'm trying to, but it always shows as disconnected?!

Use ws://umbrel:4848 for Tailscale. ws://umbrel.local:4848 for local connections.

Did you check in Tailscale if you see the Umbrel node online?

Yea it's online and I can also use it in Primal and Damus...

Correction: It only works in Damus with ws://umbrel:4848

Primal doesn't even allow me to enter ws: protocol, I can only enter wss: (and that doesn't work)

I had the same issue with Primal.net and my Nostr relay on Umbrel. I use Brave and through the developer tools I saw that Brave only allows secure websockets, so no ws:// just wss://. If you want to use wss:// via Tailscale you have to use a certificate but then your ip address will get into a public dns server, I didn't do that.

Your Nostr relay does allow you to sync from public relays (I had 4, which I can't change) to get your history in. If I then connect my Nostr client through 1 of those 4 then everything is synced without Tailscale. Maybe this is not what you were looking for but I hope it helps
