Badges can potentially be used to get funding from supporters. Another way to monetize projects. But also goes behind that - creators can create supporter badges and fans can collect them (paid or unpaid) to help support their work. Thinking may be big in NSFW industry too. π€

And since you can set them to expire, they could essentially be used as subscriptions / passes. Iβm not sure if there is some automatic way to validate them but that would be an entry into token territory.
