Be careful with #ashwagandha and #lionsmane. Growing reports of these causing permanent psychological damage. Don't take casually / do your research.

They don’t know what they’re talking about then. People been using for thousand of years

Many experience anhedonia with prolonged use with both.

Lion's Mane users report libido issues, too.

Sounds like enlightenment to me haha but no that would suck.

Can you post the articles for me. I study herbs so yea.

Search X.

"lion's mane anhedonia"

"ashwagahnda side effects"

That'll branch off to Reddit, etc...

So no medical research?

I’ll look for info on it though thanks

Do the footwork.

Lol

Just took my very first dose of LM a few hours ago & then you post this 😂

FAFO

Big upside on Lion's Mane for neurological support/repair, just pay attention for libido issues or anhedonia.

Cycle, don't use for a prolonged period.

Yeah - will do. Any suggestions?

How long was prolonged?

I was figuring I'd use it for a month & then take a break.

If it were me, I wouldn't use longer than 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off.

Ashwagandha makes me feel awful. Lion's mane, though, I consume fairly regularly... do you have a sample report handy that I could read through?

I had the same experience with Ashwagandah. Not my thing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

It gave me weird headaches like the ones I get when I'm really dehydrated.

I think people go a little over board on supplements. It’s hard to find reputable sources and people can throw off their balance of minerals in the body. I’ll take vitamins here and there depending on the season or if I’m sick; but if you just eat a healthy diet, exercise, and stay away from junk you should be good. The human body is very robust and good at maintaining homeostasis. IMO

Suggest avoiding #ashwagandha.
