Today I cancelled my Amazon Prime membership.

I wasn't using it much except to watch TV and movies on occasion, and even that benefit lost its appeal now that they're adding advertisements to their Prime Video streaming.

I'll take my money somewhere where I can get a better deal without ads.

Kinda defeats the purpose of streaming, to show adds. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah that's exactly what I think.

I know Netflix has an ad-supported tier, but it's way cheaper and they have more content that I'm interested in.

I can pay $11/month on Netflix for no ads, or $16 for Prime with ads.

Sure Prime has online shopping perks, but I don't use those enough for it to be worth it to me.

No one really needs next-day shipping, anyway.
