These modern translations are a huge part of the reason for state-cuck and zionist Christians. The language and meaning has been watered down and bastardized.

I was raised on the King Jimmy (KJV) myself, so I have some fondness for it, but I do think people should read the Bible in language they understand. But translations do tend to reflect the current opinions of the translators. Therefore, everyone probably should read the Bible in the original Hebrew and Greek for the best experience 😄 (kinda like the Muslims says you should read the Quran in Arabic).

Oh I would give almost anything to be able to read the original texts. I know KJV is far from perfect, but its not corrupted by modern fuckery at least.

Something I heard recently was that the Book of James in the New Testament was not originally called James. It was called Jacob, which was the Hebrew name of Jesus' brother who wrote it. But King James wanted his name in the Bible so the book of Jacob was renamed James!

And if you look at the Greek title of the book, you can see it looks more like Jacob than James 😄:

Oh wow. This I never heard of before, but that's definitely a translation of Jacob. One need not understand ancient greek to see that.

The story sounds plausible to me. How else do you get "James" from "Jacob"?

Yea for real. Jesus/Yeshua makes sense. Mary/Maryam makes sense. Many other examples. But James/Jacob? Nah. Thats gotta be royal ego
