Wondering about hardware wallets:

The Passport is the most expensive, but what are its actual benefits vs coldcard? The UI seems comparable, and I don't see many differences...

The Jade looks the most beginner-friendly, but I could be wrong. It's also literally half the price of coldcard...

Any advice or input welcome, the Google research has been a little overwhelming...

Thr benefit of Passport over the ColdCard is that it has a camera, so the workflow of reading unsigned transactions and sending the signed transactions is far less clunky than using a ColdCard. The UX is also pared down amd optimized for common use cases, whereas thr ColdCard is a Spartan all-business toolbox with many many tools.

Yes that is my opinion. Under the hood, the Passport actually just runs modified ColdCard firmware, so the security and stability of the devices are comparable. The Passport is the hardware wallet that feels nicest in your hand. It has weight.

Agreed. I had no idea it ran Coldcard FW. Very cool.
