What happened to the % donation to damus on zaps feature? Was it nixed due to apple App Store rules or just mocked up and not released?

It’s working on Damus, no? On the latest TestFlight build when you connect Alby through NWC, you can set the additional percentage of your default zap that gets sent to Damus

So it works if you setup payments through nostr wallet connect and alby but not through the old way of linking to wallets for sending zaps?
Yeah they are separate. I brought this up a while ago to improve the UX and the team is aware as far as I know.
Yeah. Getting alby working with damus just now took me stumbling around for about 5 minutes. That’s going to stop most users from figuring it out unfortunately. And I had no idea damus zaps with nwc were so different. I do like how it’s one tap now.
I’m cool being a crash test dummy to try these experimental features. I’m sure the setup gets easier over time.
We’ve been talking to the Alby team here in Prague and it will get easier and will be released to the App Store soon now that they’ve made some final tweaks 💜
Yeah the 1 tap zap is amazing! And feels awesome that it’s contributing to Damus too.

Ok. Now to the thing I was really wondering. When folks set a donation % what number are users choosing. I’m curious about uptake as well but that’s not as useful given it’s only deployed to users who zap via NWC and are on the TestFlight release of damus.
Your star icon color next to your name indicates your support level. You can see the color change in the preview as you move the lever.
