How are you getting 3%? I take the fiat 1% because it’s on the full amount. If I decide to gamble and spin, getting something like 3% comes with a reward limit (I think $100) so it comes in at less than 3% of the full amount. After lots of experimenting I’ve come to the conclusion taking the flat 1% is the way for large spends like credit card and mortgage.

Lmao flat 1%**

Oh snap, I didn't know there was a reward limit... Thanks for pointing this out! And followed!

Only if you choose to spin. The flat 1% is on the full amount with no limit.

And followed back :)

The most you should use for any bill is $1250. That's $25 at 2%, which is the 2% cap. I just pay bills over multiple payments and sometimes over multiple days if I need to earn more spins. It's a bit of work, but worth the sats IMO.

Ah okay this makes sense! To be honest, didn’t really think about paying off my bills in multiple payments. Definitely a nice little hack! May experiment with it and see if it’s worth the work for me. Thanks!

You're welcome and good luck!

One of the guys that comes to our meetup pays all his bills in $3 increments. I'm not sure if that's the optimal strategy, but I appreciate the hustle.

That seems excessive 😂

Holy shit! Definitely better odds for higher % back at that spend level I’d think…

Haha that’s amazing

I can almost guarantee to get 2% on every large purchase. I do the daily game and save spins. Usually I'll have 12 to use for my CC or mortgage. And now with bitcoin purchases giving spins, I just smash buy some bitcoin and then pay the bill. My 3% was just extra lucky this time.

Gotcha! I guess I could manage my spins better but seems like a lot of work. Also with the rewards limit when spinning, I’m not sure 2% would yield anymore than the flat 1% for my mortgage (~$3600)
