Blocks on nostr don’t prevent ppl from following you or seeing your posts, or zapping (presumably). You’d stop getting the notifications though.

I dont think they are a bot but they do have a bot tipping people
i don't like it. if it tipped 10000 sats i wouldn't complain, but it's tipping a uselessly low amount.
Yeah thats fine. Im not sure if you block/mute them that will stop them from tipping you. Just comment on one of their posts that you want them to stop it I guess
you can't really block on Nostr no. a block usually prevents them from seeing your posts. thing about "just comment on one of their posts" is that they're not posting. just tipping 4 sats for whatever i say. i'm not sure what is the purpose...

zaps are fine but that many feels a bit simpish. i can't possibly be posting that much good content.
Snort has auto-zaps, so I do that for a few minutes each day on global to help people verify their zaps are working and some folks may never had received a sat before.
okay, that helps explain it. i get plenty of zaps though so don't do that. reserve it for when i post good stuff please.
