Status update from the ladder nest: 🐣🐣🥚🥚

2 out of the 4 eggs have hatched so far and the chicks seem to have survived the 37C heatwave of the last few days

Angry mama guarding her nest, so no updates today 😅. I'd expect one or two more chicks to have hatched

I will say I've seen prettier chicks in my life... but I'm sure they'll turn out fine 😅
