Well, there's a range of devs between those who think current state of AI is really revolutionary and AGI is around the corner and those who won't use it at all. The devs who will thrive are in the middle, the ones who consider it as a fancy autocomplete and use it in their own benefit.

I know... It was a joke.

But I also do think way too many devs are dismissing AI as just another bubble.

My feling is that software is a bounded environment and will follow how AI engines for Chess evolved. In the end, the AI running on the phone will code better, faster and simpler than any human will ever dream of. It won't be even close.

All we can do is to learn from the AI and try to be creative.
