Could not agree more! This prolonged adolescence BS really needs to stop.

I married young by a lot of folks' standards at age 21 and it was the best decision I ever made. My wife and I have three daughters and the first one arrived just before our two-year anniversary. We would have loved to have more, but she had particularly difficult pregnancies. Now I look forward to having lots of grandkids in my 40s, instead of having just barely started a family.

Enough of my subjective experience, though. Objectively, we are in our prime-years for producing children in our 20s. That is by design.
