Over the last few years, most of the work I've done has been helping small businesses get up and running. And in that experience its become clear that a business is an ecosystem. It is a living breathing organism.

So we mapped our organizational structure to mimic nature. A model of dynamic hierarchy. Someone who is a Lead (or a Tree, as we call them) takes responsibility for a task/project/domain, and the Core Team (Seedlings, Sprouts, and Saplings) support that role - and in reciprocity, the Tree provides guidance, accountability, and sets the example for how to Tree.

We're all just Seedlings figure out what it means to be a Tree. No one is better than another and we all need each other to thrive.
