If we had never had inflation, would we have got to that point?

The only way we wouldn't have an increase in the money supply is if something like Bitcoin existed.

Gold couldn't accomplish it because of various obvious factors.

So it's like asking me if humans never existed would money ever have been invented?

Money, withing itself, is a technological advancement.

I often wonder if what we had before bitcoin could even be called money.

Like, how could we know the definition of something before it ever existed.
